dvtw: you might try to heat the bolt (not the head) w/pencil flame propane torch & then putting dry ice on it right away. I'd try it before I cut it off to drill it out. If you do decide to drill it out, definately get a left hand twist bit. As stated before, you have to drill in the exact center of the bolt, start w/small bit, gradually go to larger sizes & drill all the way to the bottom of the bolt. When you cut the stud off, leave enough of it on to get hold of it w/vice grips. Sometimes the small hole will "relax" the bolt enought to allow it to contract & it'll come right out-but you gotta drill CLEAR THROUGH the bolt. I've also seen them come out as you drill.
