Saturday I began work yet again on trying to get the exhaust and consequently the intake manifold (since they are attached and held on by the same bolts) off of the 560. As of Saturday morning I still had 4 stubborn bolts to get out. I picked up some PB Blaster Friday just to complement the liquid wrench and a set of 6 point wrenches to use instead of the 12 point I had been using which had started rounding off the bolt heads. The 6 points were definitely worth the money (plus they were on sale!). I gave them another good dousing Friday night this time with the PB and then first thing when I got out there Saturday morning to work on them. After about an hour and a half of hammering, punching, tugging and a pipe on the end of the wrench I got three of the 4 out with no problems. I was elated, now only one to go...to make a long story short, the final bolt with the most misshapen head broke off. I got the manifolds off but I still have a stud sticking out. I don't have a welder to weld the nut on like I've heard to do. I started using the vice grips, heat, occaisional punch with the hammer and more PB but the vice grips keep slipping! It's still in the head. I'm thinking of cutting it off and then drilling it out. If I drill it just a little shy of the diameter of the bolt will the remainder just fall out? What size bit should I use? The bolt is 3/8". Thanks again for all the advice!

Top that off with an old set of '36 Ford headlight shells bolted to the hood. Pretty unlikely for a car... but for a tractor, this is pretty normal. It seems that more often than not they a
