I have an 1948 Farmall Cub, that is getting really hard to start. It has a magnitto ignition that seems to have plenty of spark, the last time I tried to use the tractor, we had to pull the tractor to start it and it seems like the tractor is really hard to start after it gets hot. I have been running a Woods Belly Mower on the tractor for 2 or 3 months and I was wondering if I have sucked the life out of the motor. Can anyone tell me what the compression should be? The tractor won't start now, yet it has plenty of spark and after I crank on the motor a while trying to start it, and check the spark plugs, the plugs are wet with gas. I was thinking that the motor may not have enough compression to get fuel to the spark plugs but after cranking the motor a few times the plug seem wet with gas. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks
