Tom, I pull the knife, take my angle grinder as someone else suggested and in seconds have the heads off of the rivets, the punch them out. I have a piece of railroad track about a foot long, lay the rivets through the knife and the section and two or three good cracks with the ball peen hammer and they are on there. That angle grinder works great for sharpening the knife as well, stand it up do one side of each section all the way down, turn it upside down and sharpen the other side of the sections all the way down. I maintain my own sickle mower and my friend brings me his to repair all the time. I keep sections and guards in store as well as rivets. It wont take long to change sections and maintain your mower, good luck from Mike in Exeter Ontario
