I've been working on a 330 that I bought at an auction last fall. Recently did some work, took it for a spin around the pasture, and it died. Wouldn't start back up. It turned over a few times, then acted like the battery was dead. Let it sit for 10 to 20 minutes, hit the starter again and it started right up. Parked it for a few days, and now it won't start again. Today it turned over several times, then it wouldn't crank. The battery is fully charged and was put in new before the auction. Looked at my operater's manual and it appears the battery was installed incorrectly. According to the manual, it should be positive ground. It had been wired with negative ground. Any ideas why it would run before and not now? Is there likely any damage from being connected backward? I haven't had a chance to reconnect the battery yet.
