Hi All, this is a great forum for a guy like me who is 'new' to owning a Farmall - I just bought what I thought was a Super C - aftger getting it home and cleaning several coats of paint off of the serial number plate I found out it was a C with Super C decals! I bought this tractor thinking it was a Super C. Is a Super C worth more than a C?? I am thinking I may have gotten took - paid $2250 for the tractor with loader. The guy said everything worked fine. I went to use it and the loader would go up only so far and then acted like it was out of fluid. I drained the hyd and refilled it to the top of the fill plug. Went to use it again and same problem- then I noticed that one of the uprights for the loader looked like an additional hyd fluid reservoire - Do I need to fill this one too? ALso, the governor or throttle wants to 'hunt' when I give it gas - revs up and down rather quickly - I have to bring the throttle way back down to get it to stop and then if I slowly increase the throttle it runs steady. One more question - noticed some oil in the anti-freeze - this can't be good... Did I get SCREWED??
