Good catch, Pete, on the spring! Now that you've mentioned it my feeble memory has kicked in to remind me that I found the remnants of a rusted broken spring in my governor. I just surmised that it was the low spot in the governor and if there was any condensation to get in there, that's where it would settle. My hunting problems didn't start until after I'd got the whole engine back together and running. THEN I did the adjustment. Is 46 a little young for old-timer's to be setting in? Scotty

Memories of an IH Super A When I was ? up to 10, I worked on my Papaw's farm in Greeneville, TN every summer. As I grew older (7), it was the thrill of my day to ride or drive on the tractor. My Papaw had a 1954 IH Super A that he bought to replace a Cub. My Papaw raised "baccer" (tobacco) and corn with the Super A, but the fondest memory was of the sawmill.
