Woods L306 on a A, belt question

Just picked up a L306 for my A yesterday and got it mounted up. I have no owners manual and will have to get one but I have one question that can't wait till the manual gets here. There is a twist in the belt, is this normal? There seems to be no way to install the belt without putting this twist into it. I would think that this would be very stresful on the belt. Thanks,
