Johnnie,I borrowed my neighbors'power washer and bought two cans of easy off oven cleaner and soaked every greasy spot I could find.Then I bought some powerclean(its purple in color)and soaked the rest of the tractor and waited for about fifteen minuits.When I turned on the power washer it literally peeled the old paint right off the engine.I did not have much more to do before painting it.Good luck,I've been there,and probably will again when I find another one of those GOOD DEALS.
