Just started workin land with the field cultivator with my 1026, and just to let you guys know, I pull an 18 foot field cultivator and a crusher of the same width behind the cultivator. Do you guys think its a little too much for it being a tractor with hydrostatic drive? One bad memory it brought back was how the hydro was soooo noisy! Cant hear the radio! But its our biggest tractor so we have to use it. Our 806 is the next biggest tractor on the farm and you wanna know whats wierd?! Our 806 actually does have more drawbar horsepower than the 1026 does but the 806 aint heavy enough for the job. Or should we just weight the 806 down and put duals on it? Whats your opinion? If I had the money i'd just get a tractor like a 5288. But ill tell you what! Nothin beats the 1026 on the forage harvester!
