Be careful adjusting them with the engine running. A co worker of mine often tells a story of a guy who was adjusting the valves on a running JD 4020 and he set the scredriver down. The vibration knocked it off and it went into the fan. The fan threw it and it killed the guy on impact with his head. Just be careful.
