Thanks I appreciate your note. I know that changing wires wouldn't change timing. But I would like to know if I rotated the rear hubs, would that have turned the engine somewhat and out of time?

More impotantly, why is there spark, sufficent flow of fuel into the carb, but no ignition?

Is it really just a weak battery? Wuld that affect volts from the magneto to the plugs? But I do have a spark.

Or is fuel not getting into the chamber? because the manifold is missing three bolts and I am getting a loss of vacuum?

I'll purchase them today. But I'm afraid I have no means of jumping the battery now and I only get a crank or two before it's too low.

I have a battery tender ordered and on the way.
