the orfice was marked 31 and it has a screen on the end of it. it has never had a check ball installed in the orfice port. should i remove the screen to allow more flow? every time i've had it apart i have cleaned it and made sure i could see through the orfice. When i first pulled the orfice out (due to org pump going out) the screen was smashed in on itsself. i desoldered it cleaned it and resolded it back on and made it just like new..(new one was over $50.00)
when i first fired it up it had very good responce from the system to the control levers. when it was making whining sound it was also making a pulsating sound and the 3/4in hose that goes from the pump to the hydra-touch system would pulsate with the pump after it warmed up from working ground and i had no responce. just went back to the field and fired it up and i was able to lift the cultivator.
The tractor has around 1300 hours on a working tach, did you see the wear on the tele-a-depth system around these hours? i could not find much slop/play in the linkages.
