Joseph...It's hard to understand exactly all the posts and what's been done and not done so far. But, it sounds like you had a timming light hooked up to the magneto central post and got the timming light to light up while the engine was being cranked over, right?
If so, then you know you have a spark from the magneto and so the problem with no spark at the plugs has to be with the distributor cap, rotor, wires or the spark plugs themselves.Each of these can be checked out seperatly.
