I just finished painting a Super C that I have owned for 30 years. I rebuilt the engine 4 years and it runs great. I use it to cut about 2 acres with a woods belly mower about once a week. Last week while mowing it developed a " Clunk Noise". In all gears I can hear it each time the rear wheels make approxmitaly one turn. I jacked both rears off the ground and it runs quiet in all gears even at high RPMs. Once the rears are back on the ground the noise returns even at the slowest speed. It dosen't appear to be coming from the xmission/rear end but in the drive train btwn the xmission and the clutch. I have never had this apart so I don't know what the lash up looks like. Any information/advice will be appreciated. Thanks, Tom
