I have an IH 8'wheel disc with 28 16" blades. I have water in the tires and have added 400 pounds of weight to it. If I run it to the disc axle I sure can't pull it with my 300 in 3rd, in fact it makes my 400D snort in 3rd. Really it depends on how deep you want to disc.
