" Would M leak all gas out the tank thru carb while in storage if carb was right and forgot to turn off sediment bowl valve.?? " Yep. In fact until I bought the new sediment bowl my Super M would leak (evaporate) all the gas out of the bowl while sitting with the valve closed. As for the carb, sounds like the float isn't floating. Give 'er a whack with a hammer and see if she breaks loose. If not pull the bottom end of the carb apart (right there on the tractor) and drop the float. Be dang sure not to loose the pin that holds the float or the carb needle! Stick the float in a pan of water and see if she fills up. If yes either repair or get a new float. If no see if the needle seals when the float is at the top of its swing. If not you may need to bend it just ever so slightly to make sure it does. I went through this on my Super M last year, pulling it apart and diddling with the float. This year Paul Fox was on hand to teach me about whacking it with a hammer. I'm not sure, but its entirely likely a dose of sta-bil and/or letting the gas burn out of the carb when shutting down could help prevent this trouble in the future.

How can I explain the sensation and exhilaration I feel when I turn the key and hear the engine come to life (most
