Sorry to tell you this but yes you have a problem. You should not hear any noises from trans. Have you checked oil level? You may have bull gear problems or somethings very loose inside. I would remove the trans cover and see what's going on in there. Ka-CHUNCK sounds very bad, avoid jerky clutch action til you get her fixed.
