According to articles written by Guy Fay, the changeover to red paint officially occured on November 1 1936, which was the start of the 1937 model year.
Some folks insist that they had red farmalls, new from the factory earlier than that, so a few may have been painted red before 11/1/36. Who Knows?
It's your tractor, paint it the color you like best. No matter what you do, there will always be somebody telling you it is the wrong color.
