ok guys here is a stumper. i have been through the archives and can't find anything really related. i just got my 45 H restored. i put a new distributor on it after i removed a live hyd pump, set the points right, installed new plugs and wires. I cleaned the carb reset everything and bolted it on tight. it ran better than ever before. then after i went for a joyride for a couple of miles and came home i went from full throttle to idle and the thing died on me. i removed the carb, cleaned it and reinstalled it. it still wouldn't idle right. it will go full bore and sing a song but it won't idle. so, today i rebuilt the carb, saw my local ih service tech to make sure the carb float etc was ok and the tractor ran just fine for about ten minutes, then it crapped out again. it makes a gurgulling sound when you go from full to idle. i can move the idle jet in and the tractor runs ok but not smooth. if i give it more air it dies. i also checked the plugs and gap and the carb for air leaks and all were a-ok. so guys i hope someone can help me. thanks in advance for the help
