Don't have any home brew fixes but just finished a SC that was in the same condition. I had to pluck the head off and pull the pistons out. Glad I did because 3/4's of the rings were stuck solid in the grooves with carbon and gunk. Some of the oil scrappers were also stuck. Better tear her down and be sure.//FB
