Thanks for the re-assurance, My father is a Caterpillar mechanic. A 2.5" socket will be easily available. He just bought a new 1" torque wrench that is about 4 feet long....good for 600lb/ft. of torque. He's got a 6000 pound hoist too.....It's nice to have a mechanic for a father...
