I have a 2444 with 1400 hours run time. In the 4 years I have owned it I did it once. I was pushing a tree over, up hill and did a quick shift forward to reverse. The tractor was hot.
After the tractor cooled and with a lot of attempts, with no great force it came free. I now try not shift into gear and push sideways at the same time. Three years with no problems. Knock on wood.
