Jared - I replaced the cam gear on my Super M a couple years ago. On it the cam gear marks were a punch mark between one pair of teeth, and what looks like a pair of parentheses like this: "( )" between another pair of teeth exactly 180 degree opposite the first mark. This means is that you can use either cam gear timing mark you choose to line up with the mark on the crank gear and the cam will be properly timed. (Don't believe it? Install the cam gear using either mark, then turn the crank exactly 1 revolution and see how the timing marks line up). Keep in mind the single punch mark, when aligned with the crank gear mark, is for #1 TDC compression. Make sure then distributor rotor is under the #1 tower on the cap when you time it to the cam gear.
