I don't recognize what you have from the description. Is it an IH magneto? The mag for an H is a model H4 and there should be an H4 stamped on it. It would have an IH logo or the older style IHC logo somewhere on it too. There were some aftermarket mags made by Fairbanks-Morse & maybe others that would work also, maybe it's one of those. Any chance of posting a picture?
