This is a real mind teaser!!!!! Next time it seezes up take the starter loose and try a hand crank to make sure it is the engine and not the starter that has seezed. I'm just pitching in the dark but it might be that the starter is not disengageing and it is seezing up and not the engine. Then when it cools down it free's up again. Your problem is only going to get worse so see what the rest of the guys have to say, maybe someone else has had this problem.
