460 Hard to start

I've got an old Farmall 460 6 Cylinder Diesel, with a loader. Good old tractor, but boy is it hard to start. I can work it for a couple of hours go back and it's still hard to start. Even in hot weather. Someone said, all the 460's are hard to start. Does anyone have any idea's or suggestions's on this? Thanks for any help. Marc
