where is temp sensor on 460?

Can anyone be kind enough to tell me where I can locate the temp sensor on the motor of a 1960 460 Utility. I have to change my broken gauge the last owner cut the capillary tube off completely and I don't know where it went to. I cannot find the sensor anywhere but I know there is one there somewhere. Sorry to post such a dumb question but I got to get the gauge operational. Mike
