This tractor was bought new in 1968. To get it into gear you have to idle the tractor all the way down and mash the clutch all the way to the running board. Then when you let it out in gear, it sounds like a coffee can full of bolts rattling. If you have it in neutral digging post holes, you have to hold the clutch pedal all the way down to get the PTO in gear, and as soon as you release the smallest amount of pressure from the clutch pedal(maybe 1/4-3/8" travel)the PTO starts turning, with the same noise.
