On my H the pivot pin had worn out and the holes in the transmission top and the pin in the shift lever had been wobbled out. I drilled out the holes in the transmission top 1/16" larger and made a new pin for the shift lever from a grade 8 bolt and drilled it out 1/16" larger. I then made a new pivot pin from a grade 8 bolt that was 1/16" larger. I then used two drive plugs to retain the pin. This worked very well and the shift lever was as tight as new.
