I think the Char-Lynn P/S pump sat up high on the left side of the waterpump across from the generator on the H's... had to cut a BIG HOLE for the top of the reservoir to stick out.... Not pretty. Figure about 2-3 GPM to run the P/S system.... and not over 800-1000 psi. BATES CORP. advertises all the parts to rebuild/repair Char-Lynn P/S... and can give installation help too I'm sure. I've thought about mounting a bigger hyd. pump under the front bolster on My Super H to run the loader faster & better than the engine driven live pump on it already. It wouldn't probably be real pretty but pretty well protected in that location. You'll also need a reservoir to hold 2-5 gal. of oil. May as well ad a couple extra valves for remote cylinders as well. One for the 3-point hitch and 2 remote cyl. should be enough. Better to have an extra remote valve and not need it than to need one and not have it. I'd look for a pump in the 12-15 GPM range for the speed You want to run the pump at.

Flax provided the fibre which w
