One-Point Hitch Question

Just bought a Cub with a One-Point fast hitch and a rear 48" Mott Hammer Knife. I am wondering if there is any way to let the mower unit float. The hitch is fixed wherever the hydraulics stop and I'm afraid I am putting a lot of pressure on the unit when I go over uneven ground and come off hills. Thanks
