Yes I did dig the packing out and when I installed the new I forgot to put in the needle and I crushed the one that came in the kit. Got another one (cost 4 bucks seperatly) this time i remembered to put the needle in and I tightened it down. Maybe I didn't tighten the brass fitting down enough? How far should I tighten it? I thought i put it in as far as it was before. Should I try backing the needle out a couple turns and try tightening down the brass nut somemore?I am worried if I crush the packing nut to much parts of it will get inside the carb. Thanks again!!!
