got a different kind of IH

I have always had IH tractors one model or another but I just bought a 57 IHC 4x4 pickup and dang'ed if it doesnt have an IH tractor engine the # is BD220 it looks just like a 221 or a 263 or even a 282,my question is is the inside the same,rings,pistons ,bearings ,oil pump .I have some parts for tractor engines ,just would like to know if I can use them on a truck.. any thoughts...
