Thanks for the ideas, I have suspected the proportioning valve all along, In response to some of your comments..yes we did bleed the master cylinder before installing, we have bled the entire system twice and not a trace of an air bubble or trace of a leak in any of the lines. There seems to be good pedal until you drive the truck and apply the brakes a few times, each subsequent time the pedal fades more and more. We seem to have vacuum and when you pull the vacuum line off of the booster you can hear the air suck in. We will look at the proportioning valve as the prime culprit...an again thanks to every one for the suggestions...Mike in Exeter Ontario
