John, the wheels can be bolted on whatever way suits you. Originally they could be set for the width of row of the crop you were scuffling. So there were a number of combinations...mounted in behind the hub , mounted outside the hub or reversed outside the hub...each giving a different row crop clearance. Most Farmalls for shows and hobby are mounted inside the hub. My M and two H's are mounted inside as I don't use them for scuffling.Mike in Exeter Ontario
