I restored my 49 W-9 last year. It did have the "Standard" on the hood. That's not to say that some didn't. Mine also had "McCormick - Deering" labels and front nameplate. Most of the books say it should have been just "McCormick", but I have no doubt that mine was in original condition when I got it. Seems that IH may have used up labels or even omitted them depending on their inventory situation.
