This is a lighter hearted story for you Farmall guys. On Saturday I had my H on the elevator and the M pulled up with a load of straw. When I had unloaded I shoved the wagon out of the yard and took the H to move a load up into the barn.I closed the gates and let the cattle back into the yard. About 5 O'clock I took down the elevator and went to start the M and had a heck of a time getting her to go. I moved the elevator with the M and shut it down. Later I decided to put the M in for the weekend and had a heck of a time starting it again, finally got it into the shed and noticed a real bad miss, investigating I found a wire ripped out of the distributor cap and chewed to bits...seems the calves decided to dine on the ignition system!!.I went into my case I-H dealer to get a wiring set and a new cap and distributor and told the parts guy the story...seems I was the second guy in this week with a tale of cattle eating ignition systems, another guy had the same thing happen..misery loves company..I am not the sole stupid guy who let his cattle get at a tractor, there's two of us in Huron County...I feel better already....anymore stories like this?? C'mon guys make me feel better!!!Mike in Exeter Ontario
