I just painted a cub,Yours is alittle bigger I also had it primed after I sand blasted it.Believe it or not I used 1.25 gallons but my gun was messing up and after spiting alot.The 2 coat idea on and off the tractor is a good idea but as far as I know coats should be applied while other coat is still tacky.I'm a novice my bbrother does collision for a living.I would think it would be ok though.GOOD LUCK!
