I went to an old farm friend today to see if he wanted to sell his old baler, after an hour or so he mentioned that his sister in law had a tractor she wanted to get rid of, I beleive he said B250 Diesel with a loader..now I'm curious..hasn't run in about 8 years...what does one need to do here, new battery ,hit the glow plugs and hit start? I went to see it but she was away. I'd like to hear it running before I committ myself. If it were gas I wouldn't have a problem. If I were to put a new battery in it would a tow be better than cranking it over. I'll drain the fuel and put a gallon or so of fresh fuel in it. My old friend says its not seized so...what to do ?..imagine stubbing your toe on a red antique tractor!!!!! Any methodology on starting a diesel that has sat for a while would be appreciated....Mike in Exeter Ontario
