The amount of HP you will get out of the Firecrater set will all depend on what cylinder head you have. The Firecraters were designed to work with the gas head, so NO Gain in HP will be attained with the kero or distillate head. As far as getting more HP out of the H, you can go to a step head piston of the 3-7/16" bore (same as firecrater) or just the flat top piston of the 3-7/16" bore. As far as the kero and distillate head equipped tractors, IH made 3-3/8" HIGH STEP piston and sleeve sets that will raise the compression of these heads to that of the gas head.
