1566 wont move

My 1566 runs great, all power systems work, but she just sits when in any gear. I removed the trans cover, and the gears look perfect and work. When I move the TA lever, the trans speeds up and slows down. I can feel it try to pull some times, but mostly she just sits. Maybe she is thinking about the work I need done. Any clues? Thanks
