Sure glad you didn't run thru the end of the barn. I have a small suggestion for your clutch problem. If you have an inspection door and a squirt can with some light oil and put just a little bit on the splines of the shaft right behind the clutch disc it will help it loosen so it can release. Keep in mind you don't want so much oil that it gets on the pressure plate or the disc facings.
