Been quite a while since I fiddled with this, but as best I recall and from looking a the parts book, I think those are just a press fit. You'll have to dig them out as best you can - I've sometimes used a drill and set a screw or two in other seals to give me something to pull on to get them out, but be careful not to damage the sealing faces if you try that or you really will have a problem. When putting the new seals in it's a good idea to have some kind of follower to drive them in evenly. A piece of wood with a hole only slightly larger than the shaft can be used to distribute the forces on the seal evenly. Tapping on a short piece of pipe large enough to fit over the shaft will drive the wood evenly. Be sure to clean up the shaft, etc., before putting the new seals in. Good luck.
