About 15 years ago I took a 100 pound propane tank put a 2"coupling in the top for easy filling.Put a 3/4" ball valve in the bottom for regulating the sand flow a 3/4" T under that with a hose going up,pressurizing the top of the pot and the blasting hose going out the other side of the T . I then went a bought 20' of 1/2" sand blast hose (now on my 3rd lenght of that)use a piece of 1/4"pipe for a tip and it works very fast . I use a 125 CFM portable compressor with it and have put tons of sand through that thing over the years. At the time I built it I had $35 in fittings and supplies and $60 in sand blast hose.
