Don- I know hindsight is 20/20, but I would have drained the oil, and then put a pressure tester on the radiator cap and see if any coolant leaked into the pan. You could still do that if you put the head back on. Better yet, take the pan off and maybe you can see where the coolant is coming from. It's pretty hard to tell how much a head bolt was torqued when you take it loose, and it's also sometimes hard to spot a bad head gasket if it wasn't leaking really bad. Just a thought, how much coolant did you have in the oil? my 2ct
