First of all, set your points at .020. They are probably not closing at .025. If there is any wiggle in the rotor, set them at .018. OK. The first of the double marks is the TDC mark for #1. Just make sure you are top dead center on the compression stroke. Loosen up the distributor clamps and turn the body so the points are closed. Turn on the ignition. Then turn the body until you see the points spark, which means they are just opening. Turn off the ignition and tighten down the clamps. Stick your rotor on and note what post on the distributor cap your rotor is pointing too. That should be wired to #1 spark plug. Then in a clockwise manner, wire #3, #4, #2. Hope this is clear!
