All dependes on if it is a slow turn or a high turn engine , you will find that a good old s/m or s.mta will haul them in second and a good 450 will even get third in corn ground second in sod a 560 won't do much better . My S/H will pull three bottoms in corn ground in second and if i would get off my dead donkey and rebuild it it would go in third. buy in alphia sod it needs a t/a and a lower low but they are johndeere plows and they do pull hard.
