Thanks for the Advice. Why yes I do plan on making SOME, not alot of money bailing hay. Mostley for the fun though and to teach my kids how to work. Most of the people I have talked to around here are getting about $3.00 for a good square bale. $4.00 if you hold onto it till spring. I have heard yeald is about 800 to 1000 bales per cutting per 10 acres. 800 X 2 = 1600 = new farmall M for ME. If I can end up with a self supporting hobby out of this I would be happy.
