Sorry to say, your dollar figures seem optimistic, but it will not quite amount to that in the end... You have to figure in fuel, parts, tractor and machinery depreciation, depriciation on machine shed, depriciation on hay barn, labor both for baling and for fixing things, and interest on things. And you will have to pay rent or a loan, and pay for fertilizer and application, etc, etc. But by no means let that dissuade you - do it because you love it, and don't let the money part bother you!
